M1. France v Argentina

In what is an important match at the early stages of the World Cup, it all depends on how France will fare. They are capable of beating anybody but also losing to anybody. They are invariably slow starters though. This is a major test for Argentina. After some good years and some bad since the last World Cup, this will be an important campaign and a loss will set them back. Argentina are more reliable but they are no bankers.

M2. New Zealand v South Africa

This match will set the tone for this tournament. A match which has been anticipated since the fixtures were announced many moons ago. South Africa have emerged as major contenders for the World Cup and this will test them. It could also take the wind out of New Zealand's sails. New Zealand might just nab a win but it wont be easy.

M3. Italy v Namibia

Despite Italy's continuous disappointment they should be too good. Namibia could be competitive for some of this match and despite their upgrades in competition and competitiveness they could be found wanting.

M4. Ireland v Scotland

This will be a tough match for Ireland. They still believe they can win the World Cup despite a subpar 2019 thus far. Scotland have also improved and have structured a good team. Ireland will be the team to beat but dont bank on their aging team.

M5. England v Tonga

England will win this and win it well. Tonga were thumped by New Zealand in their last match and England are as good as New Zealand. Tonga are in a tough group so a win in this World Cup will be seen as a success. It's highly unlikely it will happen here.
