FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2019 RUGBY 5 (Pool 1)

Match 1: Beziers vs Angouleme

Beziers and Angouleme are set for an interesting battle in the French Pro D2 League.Angouleme is currently fourth on the log with ten wins from 29 games, while Beziers are in ninth position with nine wins from only 23 starts.The result can go any way.

Match 2: Aurillac vs Mont-De-Marsan

Aurillac is 14th on the log and the visitors 12th.On paper there is very little to choose between the sides and an each way is suggested.

Match 3: Sporting U Agenais vs Edinburgh

Agen lies 12th on the Top 14 log with three wins from nine, while Edinburgh looks the stronger side with four wins from six in the Pro14 Conference B.

Edinburgh should get maximum points.

Match 4: Nevers vs Valence Romans

Nevers should have the bearing of Valence Romans.They won four matches from nine and Romans only two from ten.

Match 5: Vannes vs Colomiers

Colomiers tell a more positive story on the log and is tipped to triumph over the home side.



Match 1: Gloucester vs Stade Toulousain

An interesting match. Gloucester is fifth on the Premiership log with two wins from four, while Toulouse is currently eighth on the Top14 log with four wins from nine.Anyone can win.

Match 2: London Scottish vs Cornish Pirates

Cornish Pirates should notch up an easy victory in the Championship Cup.They should win by 13 or more points.

Match 3: Bayonne vs Toulounnais

A close match on the cards with only one point separating Bayonne and Toulon on the log.Bayone has won five from nine and Toulon four from nine.

Match 4: Stade Francais vs Brive

Stade Francais are battling to find their feet and will need to get into another gear if they want to beat visitors Brive.

Match 5: Carcassonne vs Provence Rugby

There's nothing to choose between the two sides and therefore anyone can win this encounter.



Match 1: Bath vs Ulster

Ulster is enjoying a successful Pro14 season and should have the beating of Bath, even if they're playing away from home.Ulster was beaten 22-16 by Munster over the weekend, but the defeat won't take its momentum away.However, Bath can never be underestimated.

Match 2: Glasgow Warriors vs Sale Sharks

A close call as anyone can win. It is two top sides who are both in good form.Each way bet suggested.

Match 3: La Rochelle vs Exeter Chiefs

The latest log position points to a victory for Exeter Chiefs, but they can not afford to take La Rochelle lightly.

Match 4: Clermont Auvergne vs Harlequins

Clermont will start as strong favourites after five wins from nine matches.Harlequins, on the other hand, is battling to regain their form of last season and could only win one from four so far.Clermont should win by 13 or more.

Match 5: Ospreys vs Munster

Although Ospreys did not field their strongest side as their top players returned from the World Cup, their defeat against the Southern Kings over the weekend will still go down as a shocker.The Kings were punished 50-0 by die Glasgow Warriors the previous weekend and surprised by their dramatic comeback.Munster should, therefore, score an easy victory by 13 or more.



Match 1: Bristol vs Zebre

Maximum points is also predicted for Bristol as the face the luckless Italian side.Zebre lost all seven matches so far in Conference A of the Pro14 competition, while Bristol is placed fourth on the Premiership log with two wins from three.

Match 2: Dragons vs Castres

Although Dragons have a better log position in Conference A of Pro14 rugby, is will come as a surprise if Castres does not take the honours.

The French outfit won four of their first nine matches in the Top 14 competition.The Dragons managed two wins from six, but on paper the French look the stronger side.

Match 3: Leicester Tigers vs Section Paloise

Section Paloise  should bag maximum points with an easy victory.Leicester Tigers are not playing to their true potential right now and their bottom-of-the-log position shows exactly that.

Match 4: Scarlets vs London Irish

Scarlets should have the upper hand and secure their sixth win of the season from seven matches.London Irish will have to find some magic to upset the home team.

Match 5: Bordeaux Begles vs London Wasps

Bordeaux, with six victories from nine games, looks far too strong for Wasps and should notch up an easy victory.


Match 1: Connacht vs Montpellier

Connacht is strongly placed in Conference B of Pro 14 with four wins from six starts, while Montpellier is in seventh position on the Top14 log with three wins from nine.Although Montpellier lost 24-28 to Bayone the past weekend, they seem to improve every week after a poor start to the season.

Match 2: Northampton Saints vs Lyon

The powerful Lyon side is tipped to stay on the winning road when they travel to Northampton Saints for their match on Sunday.They top the Top 14 log with eight wins from nine and the Saints will need a massive effort to win this one.

Match 3: Nottingham vs Bedford Blues

A close match is expected in the Greene King IPA Championship, but the Falcons is tipped to take the honours.They could even win by 13 or more points.

Match 4: Newcastle Falcons vs Coventry

These two teams are first and third on the log respectively, but the unbeaten Falcons should stay on top with another victory.

Match 5: Racing 92 vs Saracens

Racing 92 is still struggling to find their form of previous seasons and is battling second from last on the Top 14 log.Saracens, on the other hand, have won three from four and should win.Racing 92 has the ability to bounce back at any time, but Saracens look too strong for this encounter.
